Who we are:
Ecological BnB start up in Spain, close to Malaga (one hr north). It’s a semi blank canvas, we have an orange grove, chickens, stables, micro green business, cats and dogs. We have 7 000 sqm flat land and 7 000 sqm forest grove, ideal for a potential food forest. The main house is the bnb and the casita is a structure which will need developing with solar and gray-water systems and we have well water for irrigation. We are looking to create a natural swimming pool for the bnb. Owner is qualified in traditional medicine and looking to create medicinal garden.
What we are looking for:
- a permaculture design of phases 1 - 3 ( phase 1 being the easiest to implement and gaining the quickest results, we need to make a profit from the word Go)
- implementation of basic infrastructure and completion of phase 1 (which should include getting us doing with vegetable beds and vegetable/mushrooms/berries production as a priority to start the farm shop and supply the BnB.)
- setting up of systems that makes it easy for us to work with volunteers in the future
hand over to the following project manager after the the placement
Who you are:
- Fully qualified permaculture designer who needs a successful case study to demonstrate his/her capabilities to future clients
- Designer who wants to design and run a project and manage his/her own 1-2 volunteers
- You have a keen sense of permaculture for business and understand profit and loss
- Good communication and collaboration ability, hard working with a good work-ethic, sensible project management skills
- Knowledge about pools, solar and gray -water a bonus (any additional skills are appreciated, please state them on your application)
About:
The position is part of an Entrepreneur Erasmus giving aspiring entrepreneurs the work experience they need to promote themselves with future customers. This project runs over six month and the compensation is € 4.000 (€ 800 per month). To qualify for this program you must be a UK or EU citizen and not yet live in Spain or not been living in Spain for longer than 6 months.
Farm stay is possible of course, alternatively however, we are walking distance to town and a bus stop is in front of the door. Food sharing on the farm is possible, we are vegetarian/vegan on the farm. Please apply listing your previous experience to info@thenutritionhealer.com
